About the Role:

Join the Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) as an Infection Control Nurse, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and safety of patients and staff.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Implement and monitor the Hospital Infection Control Program.
• Conduct HAI surveillance (CAUTI, CLABSI, SSI, VAP, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to hand hygiene & PPE protocols.
• Monitor sterilization, disinfection, and CSSD practices.
• Supervise biomedical waste segregation and disposal.
• Conduct infection control audits & rounds.
• Train healthcare staff on infection prevention guidelines.
• Investigate infection outbreaks and prepare root cause analysis.
• Maintain infection control documentation as per NABH/JCI.
• Coordinate with microbiology, nursing, OT, ICU, and housekeeping.
• Assist in Infection Control Officer & Committee meetings.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

• BSc in Nursing.
• 0 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong time management skills, good communication, and decision-making abilities.
