About the Role:
Join Signature Advanced Super Multispeciality Hospital as an Infection Control Nurse.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Implement and monitor infection prevention and control policies throughout the hospital.
- Conduct surveillance of hospital-acquired infections and maintain infection control data.
- Ensure proper hand hygiene, PPE use, and isolation precautions are followed by staff.
- Monitor sterilization, disinfection, and environmental cleaning processes.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Educate healthcare staff on infection control practices and updated guidelines.
- Coordinate with microbiology, nursing, and housekeeping teams for infection prevention activities.
- Support antibiotic stewardship programs and monitor antimicrobial usage.
- Perform regular infection control audits and ensure compliance with NABH / JCI standards.
- Prepare infection control reports and present findings to the infection control committee.
