About the Role:
Join our team at Victor Hospital as an OT Nurse in Madgaon, Goa.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare the operation theatre before surgery, ensuring sterility and availability of instruments.
- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures.
- Maintain strict aseptic conditions and follow infection control protocols.
- Prepare patients for surgery including skin preparation, positioning, and verification checklist.
- Handle, count, and maintain surgical instruments, sponges, and needles before and after procedures.
- Monitor patient condition during surgery and assist in emergencies.
- Transfer patients safely to recovery room and provide post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain OT records, surgical notes, and ensure proper biomedical waste disposal.
