Senior Resident - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Amrita Hospital, Kochi

About the Role:

As a Senior Resident in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of patient care at Amrita Hospital in Kochi, Kerala.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assess and manage OPD and IPD patients requiring rehabilitation services.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans for neurological and orthopedic cases.
• Provide pain management and electrotherapy treatments.
• Supervise physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions.
• Manage rehabilitation for stroke, spinal cord injury, and trauma patients.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Coordinate with surgeons, neurologists, and orthopedicians for comprehensive care.
• Perform functional assessments and disability evaluations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and rehabilitation documentation.
• Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Guide junior doctors, interns, and therapy staff.

• Qualifications: DNB/MS in relevant field.
• Work Experience: 0 to 5 Years, adhering to NMC norms.
• Skills: Team Coordination, Emergency Handling, Documentation, Interpersonal Skills.
