What You'll Be Doing:
- Examine and diagnose diseases through laboratory analysis of tissue, blood, and other body fluids.
- Interpret and report histopathology, cytology, hematology, microbiology, and biochemical test results.
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with clinicians to provide diagnostic insights for patient management.
- Oversee and maintain laboratory operations, including equipment, safety, and compliance with protocols.
- Develop and implement new diagnostic techniques and laboratory methodologies.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of all pathology findings.
- Participate in teaching, mentoring, and training of residents, medical students, and lab staff.
