About the Role:
Join Dr Manu Raj Memorial PMC Hospital as a Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care.
- Conduct outpatient and inpatient oncology consultations, including pre- and post-treatment assessments.
- Monitor treatment response, manage side effects, and adjust therapy as needed.
- Collaborate with surgical, radiation oncology, and palliative care teams for multidisciplinary cancer management.
- Manage oncological emergencies such as neutropenic fever, tumor lysis syndrome, and spinal cord compression.
- Counsel patients and families on diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options, and end-of-life care when required.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- A DNB in Medical Oncology and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong skills in attention to detail, patient care, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
