About the Role:

What You'll Be Doing:

• Diagnose and manage patients requiring surgical intervention for gastrointestinal, liver, pancreas, and biliary disorders.
• Perform complex GI surgeries including resections, laparoscopic procedures, and emergency abdominal surgeries.
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations, imaging review, and surgical planning for optimal outcomes.
• Manage post-operative care including ICU monitoring, wound care, and complication management.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and critical care teams for multidisciplinary care.
• Handle surgical emergencies such as perforations, GI bleeding, and bowel obstructions.
• Counsel patients and families on surgical options, risks, prognosis, and post-operative care.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

• DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
