About the Role: As a Labour Room Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.

What You'll Be Doing: - Provide nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. - Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal well-being throughout labor. - Assist obstetricians and midwives during normal and complicated deliveries. - Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management as prescribed. - Educate mothers and families on labor, breastfeeding, and newborn care. - Maintain accurate patient records, birth registers, and nursing charts. - Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, infection control, and safety protocols. - Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies, including PPH, eclampsia, and neonatal resuscitation. - Coordinate with pediatricians, anesthetists, and other healthcare staff for comprehensive care.
