ICU Technician at SPAND Multispeciality Hospital, Jamshedpur

About the Role: As an ICU Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting critical care procedures and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients in the ICU.

What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in setting up, operating, and maintaining ICU medical equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps. - Support doctors and nurses during critical care procedures and emergency situations. - Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and report abnormalities promptly to medical staff. - Ensure all ICU instruments are calibrated, sterilized, and functioning properly. - Maintain stock of ICU supplies, consumables, and ensure timely replenishment. - Prepare and manage equipment required for intubation, suctioning, and resuscitation. - Follow infection control and safety protocols within the ICU environment. - Assist in patient transfers within or outside the ICU with proper monitoring setup. - Document equipment usage, maintenance logs, and patient data accurately.
