About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Microbiology, you will play a crucial role in performing and supervising diagnostic microbiology tests, contributing to patient care and laboratory excellence.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform and supervise diagnostic microbiology tests including bacteriology, virology, mycology, and parasitology under faculty guidance. - Assist in interpreting laboratory results and preparing reports accurately and timely. - Supervise and guide Junior Residents, interns, and students in laboratory procedures and microbiology techniques. - Participate in departmental academic activities such as seminars, case discussions, and journal clubs. - Conduct research projects, audits, and contribute to publications in Microbiology. - Maintain accurate laboratory records, quality control documentation, and safety protocols. - Ensure adherence to hospital policies, laboratory safety, and ethical standards. - Conduct workshops and practical demonstrations for students and trainees.
