SR / Attending Consultant - Anesthesia Doctor at Fortis Hospital, Mohali

About the Role: As a Senior Attending Consultant in Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures.

What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and prepare patients for surgery. - Provide clinical anesthesia services in the operating theatre under the supervision of a consultant. - Deliver post-anesthetic care, including monitoring and pain relief in the Surgical ICU. - Offer standby anesthesia for endoscopic procedures in minor OT and endoscopy room. - Participate in acute resuscitation services as a member of the CODE BLUE team. - Engage in continuous quality improvement processes and peer reviews. - Maintain a safe environment for anesthesia practice and assist in procedures as authorized. - Manage inpatients and maintain patient records. - Interact with patient attendants to update them on patient status and recovery. - Supervise nursing and paramedical staff to uphold high standards of care. - Complete patient history forms and assist in quality assurance studies.
